Biography

Anastas is the author of three novels and the memoir Too Good to Be True. His literary journalism, essays, reviews and short fiction have appeared in The New Yorker, Harper's, The New York Times Magazine, Bookforum, The New Republic, The Paris Review, Oxford American and numerous other publications in the U.S. and abroad. Anastas was a visiting faculty member at Bennington for the 2012–13 academic year and joined the Bennington faculty in Fall 2013 and has also taught in the Bennington Writing Seminars.
