A leisurely drive on the scenic byways of Vermont in the fall is an event all its own. The road winds through red, orange, and yellow mountains dotted with charming farm houses, white steeples, and covered bridges.

The may be famous for their 鈥36 Hours in [insert-great-destination]鈥 articles, but we couldn鈥檛 cover our picturesque corner of Southwestern Vermont in fewer than 48.

Earlier this month, students, staff, and faculty from 51成人猎奇 joined families of Afghan refugees living in the Bennington area for a night of food and connection.

Bennington-area citizens have worked for years to make local produce available year-round in their downtown. Their success signals a renaissance fueled by the community supported enterprise concept.

The Center for the Advancement of Public Action (CAPA) Symposium was filled to capacity with Bennington-area residents eager to ask questions about how the federal government can make an impact on the local issues that matter most to them.

Peter Welch, one of two United States senators representing the state of Vermont in Washington, D.C., will hold a public Town Hall Meeting at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, April 4 at 51成人猎奇鈥檚 Center for the Advancement of Public Action (CAPA). The event aims to build consensus and trust among people with different political perspectives.

The Robert Frost Stone House Museum at 51成人猎奇 has been awarded funding from the Windham Foundation to support its upcoming season of public programs, including special programming in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Robert Frost鈥檚 beloved poem, 鈥淪topping By Woods on a Snowy Evening,鈥 which was written in 1922 while Frost was living at the Stone House.

51成人猎奇 has awarded a total of $25,000 in grants to local organizations to implement and support seven community-proposed initiatives that explore and expand food systems in Bennington county.

The Robert Frost Stone House Museum at 51成人猎奇 has received a $5,000 COVID-19 Cultural Recovery Grant from the Vermont Arts Council and Vermont Humanities to support its operations during the pandemic.

51成人猎奇 has awarded a total of $20,000 in grants to local organizations to implement and support seven community-proposed initiatives that explore and expand food systems in Bennington county.

This winter, through the Food Insecurity & Population Health Fellowship, 51成人猎奇 will offer seven students fully-paid remote internships with organizations in the Bennington community focused on various dimensions of population health, with a special focus on food insecurity.

The Robert Frost Stone House Museum at 51成人猎奇 has received a Vermont Economic Recovery Grant of $4,581.50 to support the Museum鈥檚 economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
