Jacobs is chairman and CEO of , and managing partner of Jacobs Private Equity, LLC. He serves as executive chairman of the board of (NYSE: XPO), which he founded in 2011. He is the author of .
Over the course of his career, Jacobs has led teams that completed approximately 250 cold-starts and 500 acquisitions, including the purchase and integration of multi-billion dollar public companies in North America and Europe. He鈥檚 raised more than $10 billion of debt and equity capital, including two IPOs.
Jacobs is listed among the Best CEOs of the 2016 All-America Executive Team, was named American Shipper鈥檚 2015 Person of the Year, and is an inductee of the American Rental Association Hall of Fame.
