Course Description

Summary

This course presents an opportunity to participate in re-imagining the 鈥渘ext life鈥 of the Student Center, as it transitions from its temporary function as a dining facility back to a home for student-centered programming. Students will work together collaboratively to generate program concepts and physical design ideas as a basis for envisioning a full interior renovation of the existing space. Students will work in collaborative teams exploring all aspects of the design, from programming the selection of materials and furnishings.

Prerequisites

Permission of instructor. Interested students will submit a one paragraph statement of interest by May 7th. Which aspects of the problem are you most interested in engaging with?
