OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND LIVE STREAMING | Jai Chakrabarti, Stacey D'Erasmo, and Craig Morgan Teicher will read from their recent books as part of the Writers Reading series.

Jai Chakrabarti is the author of the novel A Play for the End of the World, which won the National Jewish Book Award for debut fiction, was a finalist for the Rabindranath Tagore Prize, and was long-listed for the PEN/Faulkner Award. He is also the author of the story collection A Small Sacrifice for an Enormous Happiness. His stories have won two O. Henry Prizes, a Pushcart Prize, and have been anthologized in The Best American Short Stories.

Stacey D鈥橢rasmo is the author of the novels Tea, A Seahorse Year, The Sky Below, Wonderland, and The Complicities; and the nonfiction books The Art of Intimacy: The Space Between and The Long Run: A Creative Inquiry. She is a former Stegner Fellow in Fiction, the recipient of a 2009 Guggenheim Fellowship in Fiction, and the winner of an Outstanding Mid-Career Novelist Prize from the Lambda Literary Foundation. She is Professor of Writing and Publishing Practices at Fordham University.

Craig Morgan Teicher is the author of several books, most recently Welcome to Sonnetville, New Jersey and the essay collection We Begin in Gladness: How Poets Progress. He recently edited Little Mr. Prose Poem: The Selected Poems of Russell Edson and was a 2021 Guggenheim fellow. His next collection, August September October, will be published in Spring 2026.
