51�������� faculty are encouraged to follow their own interests and the interests of their students as they propose their classes. As a result, classes, as many as half of which are new each term, feature topics that are always reflecting new lines of inquiry.

Winston Foundation Grant funds Spring 2023 class and reading Wednesday, May 17

Poetry at Bennington, an endowed program of short-term residencies that brings established and emerging poets to 51�������� for public readings and close work with students, has announced its Spring 2023 lineup of featured poets.

The Community of Literary Magazines & Presses (CLMP) has awarded a $10,000 capacity-building grant to Bennington Review.

In 2022, undergraduate and Bennington Writing Seminars alumni and faculty published over 50 books. Their writing spanned a wide range of genres from nonfiction essays, memoirs, and biographies, to novels, poetry, young adult literature, and short stories.

The Robert Frost Stone House Museum at 51�������� has been awarded funding from the Windham Foundation to support its upcoming season of public programs, including special programming in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Robert Frost’s beloved poem, “Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening,” which was written in 1922 while Frost was living at the Stone House.

The Spring 2022 issue of (M)othertongues has launched, featuring student prose, poetry, and artwork.
