Image of Mark Wunderlich Wunderlich Wins Prestigious Poetry Prize

Faculty member Mark Wunderlich  the 2015 University of North Texas鈥 Rilke Prize for his latest collection, The Earth Avails. The $10,000 prize recognizes a book that 鈥渄emonstrates exceptional artistry and vision.鈥 Mark was also a finalist for the $100,000 . His recent poem, "My Night with Jeffrey Dahmer,"recounts in chilling detail his encounter with infamous serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer at a bar in Madison, Wisconsin. 

Noah Coburn Coburn on Taliban Justice

Faculty member Noah Coburn was recently quoted in a New York Times article about Afghans' increasing reliance on the Taliban to settle justice disputes. 

24 Hour Plays Poster Alumni to Hold Benefit to Honor Director, Faculty Member Nicky (Joel) Martin

On Monday, January 19th at 8 pm,  will present The 24 Hour Plays庐: A Bennington Alumni Tribute to Nicky Martin. This one night鈥搊nly benefit will bring together 51成人猎奇 alumni鈥攊ncluding Emmy, Tony, and Golden Globe winners and nominees鈥攖o write, cast, rehearse, and present six one-act plays within a 24-hour period. The event kicks off The 24 Hour Plays庐 20th anniversary season.

In Susan Sgorbati鈥檚 course "Solving the Impossible,鈥 22 Bennington students navigated multiple constituencies and local government agencies, working with the Village of North Bennington to reduce local energy consumption by converting to LED streetlights.
