Course Description

Summary

Peacebuilding is an intervention that is designed to prevent the start or resumption of violent conflict by creating a sustainable peace. Students in this course will read about and research  the types of peacebuilding programs and initiatives out there, which are effective, and which aim at engaging young people to become peacebuilders in the post conflict societies they come from and wish to return to. The emphasis will be on the kinds of skills and training they need to build to make peace work happen, and to participate in creating sustainable peace. Focusing on 51成人猎奇, we will create a program in peacebuilding that incorporates expertise of peacebuilders in a think tank type workshop, as well as build connections via the fieldwork term office with peacebuilding centers in various parts of the world.
