Course System Home Terms Fall 2019 Advanced Voice

Course Description

Summary

Advanced study of vocal technique and the interpretation of the vocal repertoire, designed for advanced students who have music as a plan concentration and to assist graduating seniors with preparation for senior recitals. Students are required to study and to perform a varied spectrum of vocal repertory for performance and as preparation for further study or graduate school. A class maximum of five voice students will meet for one-hour individual or semi-private session/coachings with the instructor each week (to be scheduled with the instructor). Students will also have an individual half-hour session with a pianist each week to work on repertory. Corequisites: Attendance and participation in Music Workshop (Tuesday, 6:30 - 8pm).
