Course Description

Summary

Currently, 1 in 5 adults in the United States experience a mental health disorder. This course will explore the types and causes of adult psychopathology, as well as the assessment, treatment, developmental course, and related research in psychotherapy for adult disorders. The professional, ethical, and cultural issues related to psychopathology and its treatment will also be discussed. Note: this course is entirely remote, and will be held synchronously.
