The study of foreign languages and cultures is a crucial asset. For some, it is a life-saving necessity. For others it represents a powerful tool in a toolkit for antiracism, social justice, and intercultural understanding. In this course, students will gain a basic understanding of language and culture teaching to young children and adults. Discussions with local teachers and language acquisition experts will provide a professional perspective on the course content.

Dalcroze Eurhythmics is a music class where we practice sensing the body through musical movement. Can our bodies help us learn how to read and interpret sheet music too? Yes!

How do I begin? What's happening already…we are the studio.

Are you interested in taking a closer look at the  immediate and collective spaces that we live in? What are some of the realities that exist around us and why/ how can we build work that pushes against these basic constructs.

This course explores the art and technique of mold making and its supportive processes.Think about all the teeth molds we make when we munch through our evening supper. Our mouths often act as molds to shape the pressures related to communication and speech.  This class will investigate processes related to many different types of molds, from making multiple plaster part molds to flexible silicone examples.

Modern Guitar is a one on one private lesson.  Occasionally if two students are about the same level the class will accommodate two students at a time.

It is expected that a firm grasp of all the concepts taught in Beginning and Intermediate Guitar are fully understood.

If you haven’t taken these classes you would have to audition to receive the instructors permission to demonstrate skills.

Tai-Chi (Taiji) is a Chinese martial art and meditation system. The symbol of Tai-Chi is the famous Chinese Yin and Yang symbol also called Taiji.
